LIFE IN BIOGRAD AS AN ERASMUS STUDENT
As a Slovenian Erasmus student on mobility in Biograd, Croatia, I had a great experience. I had a lot of fun exploring the city and discovering its cultural offerings.
One of the best parts of my experience was meeting new people and making new friends. It was interesting to learn about their habits, and lifestyles, and we were able to share our own experience with each other.
The lifestyle in Biograd was relaxed and laid-back, which was a welcome change from the fast-paced lifestyle in Slovenia. The people were friendly and welcoming, and I felt at home in their community.
I enjoyed trying out new foods and drinks, and the local cuisine was delicious. The seafood was especially fresh and tasty, and I often visited the local markets to buy fresh produce and ingredients for my meals.
Overall, my time in Biograd, Croatia was a memorable experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have lived there as an Erasmus student on mobility.

BIOGRAD

The town is steeped in history, and visitors can explore its ancient fortresses, churches, and monuments. The nearby Vrana Lake Nature Park provides opportunities for hiking and birdwatching, and the surrounding countryside is dotted with olive groves and vineyards.
In addition to its natural and cultural attractions, Biograd is known for its delicious seafood and traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Visitors can sample local specialties like grilled fish, octopus salad, and ‘peka’, a slow-cooked meat and vegetable dish.
ZADAR
Zadar is a historic city located on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. It is known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and beautiful beaches. The city’s old town is home to many well-preserved Roman ruins, medieval churches, and Venetian buildings, making it a popular destination for history buffs and architecture enthusiasts.

A MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORKPLACE
During my time at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o., I had a diverse role that involved both fieldwork and office duties. In the field, I repaired various machines, electric installations, and other equipment. I enjoyed the hands-on aspect of my work and being able to troubleshoot and fix problems.
In the office, I assisted with administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and responding to emails. It was a nice change of pace from being out in the field, and it allowed me to develop new skills that were important for my role.
My typical work hours were from 8am-4pm
Working at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o. gave me the opportunity to work with a great team of professionals who were always willing to lend a hand and share their knowledge. I learned a lot from my mentor, and his support helped me grow both personally and professionally.
I enjoyed the change of pace from my usual and the opportunity to work with different people in a different climate.
TASKS AND DUTIES ON A DAILY BASIS
On a daily basis, my tasks and duties at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o. involved a wide range of responsibilities. At the beginning of the day, I would meet with my mentor to plan out my tasks for the day.
Fieldwork was a significant part of my daily routine, and I would often travel to different job sites to repair various machines and electric installations. I enjoyed the challenge of troubleshooting and fixing problems in the field and found it rewarding to see the equipment back up and running.
In addition to fieldwork, I also had office duties that involved preparing reports. These tasks helped me develop new skills and allowed me to contribute to the overall success of the company.
One of the perks of working at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o. was that I was provided with a company car, which allowed me to travel to job sites quickly and efficiently and they would also let me keep the car outside of working hours.
Overall, my daily tasks and duties at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o. were challenging but rewarding. The combination of fieldwork and office duties allowed me to develop new skills and contributed to my personal and professional growth. The company car and lunch were also great perks that made my workday more enjoyable.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, my experience working at Dalmacija Therm d.o.o. was fantastic. I had the opportunity to work with great people in a different climate, and I learned a lot about electric installations and engineering. On the other hand, when I wasn’t working I explored Biograd and nearby cities and made new friends. Overall, it was a great learning experience that I will always cherish.
My plan for the next five years is to find a nice job, where I will be happy and that offers me time and resources to travel a lot.
